HAPPY HALLOWEEN :D

halloween

-

I have been blogging for a consecutive of three days(:
That probably sums up that there are quite a number of interesting things that happened to me recently.
After school today, went to mediacorp for don't forget the lyrics recording with the school.
You know how NYP students get so high and it is just so exciting.
How the emcee are so entertaining and how Gurmit Singh is so humorous.
I am sure all the audience, including myself, enjoyed the whole process(:
A day for us to dance, sing, clap and scream/cheer along in a game show, what a great day.
Photography and video recording are not permitted in the studio/theatre.
So I will try to snap more pictures the next time :D
And I realised that many people's birthday falls on 31st October, haha.

Attended Perfume & Candle Making workshop today.
Basically, we have learnt how to make perfumes and candles which is so interesting!
Theory was good, should not elaborate much on that.
But when it comes to practical, I think I am so so so silly please!
It was smooth during the first part of the practical experiment for making candles.
While the candle wax is boiling and when it reaches 50 degree, I added in wax dye and stir it.
I am helping yh to hold the beaker, and he will be stirring the wax and dye together.
A moment later, Cassandra talk to me, I turned behind and not paying attention of what I am doing, then suddenly......
The whole beaker broke, all the hot water spills, what is left is broken pieces of glass and water.
I feel so sorry because I drag my partner down as his facial expression tells me that he is unhappy about me!
We had to restart everything again, but thankfully amalina's group is redoing too.
So at least there's someone to accompany us.
Get so freaked out lah, especially when I heard '' Ohhhh, jiahaoooooooo, ohhhhhhhhh! ''
Then again, in the later part of the practical.
I even broke the glass stirring rod ( I don't know why, too ), and everyone is like losing confidence in me.
They don't allow me to help them due to my carelessness.越帮越忙
I felt quite frustrated at that point of time, I know it's my fault.
But can't you guys just spare a thought for me? I didn't did it on purpose. =/
Fortunately, despite restarting the whole process, we managed to complete ONE candle.
Whereas others have completed more than one and is so beautiful.
Our candles is like lol, but never mind, at least we tried our best.

Second part of the workshop is about making your own fragrance by creating your own scent based on your preference.
For the first perfume bottle, I have added in sandalwood as a base note.
Followed by peppermint as a middle note and lastly, green meadow as a top note.
It smells great okay, not that bad anyway.
Since there is extra bottles, I have tried making it again.
Base note : YlangYlang, Middle note : Pine, Top note : Orange.
And everyone in my class is smelling each other's perfume, haha.
Love today's session(:

This is going to be the very first time I am going to blog about bxb!
This year is somehow different as compared from the past years.
Every time when it comes to the last day, I will not have much feelings.
Infact I am feeling super happy because I need not have to wake up at 7.30am every Sunday!
But this year, I look forward in waking up early and attend bxb because it's so heartwarming.
When everyone knows each other so well, those laughters during sharing activities.
The most memorable one is when I have the opportunity to share a story.
And having to receive the story THE DAY BEFORE for preparation.
At that point of time, if I am not wrong, I just came back from celebrating Mid-Autumn Festival at a party.
My eyes were half-closed while reading the email, so I called Peishan to print out for me and head to bed instead.
I actually started to organise everything on the actual day itself before it's my turn to speak.
And ended up I do not have enough time to even complete the Maths specimen papers I have bought.
But the satisfaction is overwhelming when others told me that '' Hey Jiahao, you have done well.''
Prize presentations, delectable food and a farewell goodbye.

You know, we are like a big family (:
I hope we will still stay together, and no one will be posted to somewhere else.
Shall upload the pictures of the gathering we had on Sunday.
Looking back, I started joining bxb since primary 4, in the year of 2003.
And now, it has been a total of 6 years ( including this year )
Well, 2 more years and I will graduate from bxb already!
We will not be a student forever, can we?

I always thinks that last day of school is always the best!
I remember it was not long ago when we, together with Miss Chan, shifted our tables and chairs to 3E classroom.
Then now, it was again shifted to 4E classroom.
How time flies, like in a blink of an eye I will be sec 4 next year taking 'N' level.
Today was a great day, because I receive two awards : Model Student Of The Year and Singa Award(Merit).
Of course, I would like to thank my form teacher, Mr Wong and Miss Jasmine Lee for nominating me! :D
We all have a good time cheering for our classmates, it was fun after all(:
Thank you teachers, friends and seniors who congratulated me.

Listen to radio 91.3fm in the morning, and just know that today ( 21/10/08 ) is APPLE DAY!
An apple a day keeps the doctors away. (:

Overdue pictures for Mid-Autumn festival!
Yes, long overdue. Because at that period of time I was having end of year examination.
Thus didn't have time to upload it, until amelia reminded me!
Amelia, I will be sending you the pictures through email or msn.
But before that, let me blog about the trip to bugis on Friday after school.
The intention of going there is to get some idea on what to sell for the push cart competition.
But well, it was somehow a disappointment because there wasn't anything interesting there.
Had a good time with a couple of friends, macdonals for dinner, kinokuniya for books.
And just basically hanging around because there will be no school the next day.
I am going to buy all the Mitch Albom storybooks, Tuesday with Morrie is such a great book.
I want to read again even though I had finished it since the first half of this year.
Currently reading Mitch Albom - for one more day(:
Would like to complete it as soon as possible and continue with another book - five people you meet in heaven.

Love the way how after exams life is, because attending school is just for post exam activity.
And there's no school for both Monday and Tuesday, Thursday will be the last day of school.
I am so looking forward to class 2E'07 reunion chalet gathering!
It would be so great to see those familiar faces again even though we're still in the same school.
But there is a lack of communication since everyone are in different class due to the subject combination.
As what Miss Chan said '' It'll be time to play and for us to catch up! :) ''

Lastly, good luck to all seniors for your O's written exam tomorrow!
We will always support you guys(;

JIAHAO PASS HIS MATHS! :D

Checked all the scripts today.
For me, I did over expectations for my maths.
Not that I am totally satisfied as careless mistakes is inevitable.
But never mind, lesson learn : don't ever get freaked out for exams.
You know how my mind went blank during maths paper 1 and my answers were ridiculous.
I am oblivious about what I am doing and what is happening around me.
I can't even solve those simple questions, thus affecting my overall result for paper one.
And it is really infuriating because you know that you could solve it, but just couldn't calm down and think.
Nonetheless, manage to pass by one mark. I.believe.in.miracle. :D
Because I thought I am going to do badly. Phew.
Paper 2 was manageable, atleast it is better than paper 1.
I don't care if my marks is just a C5.
Because I am more than happy to be able to pass maths.

English were all right. Just that I really need to improve on my sentence structure and all those grammatical errors.
Combined Science, Social Studies, Mother Tongue is (:
I am just very disappointed in my POA.
Due to my carelessness, I didn't write the answers for question 4 ( theory ) in multi column paper.
I write it in the question paper instead and 14 marks gone!
See, that's the consequence of not having to read instructions ):
Fortunately, out of 5 sections, despite having 1 section scoring zero.
I still managed to get a 73/100. Which is an A2.
You know, I am feeling so *&^%$#@! now, if I do complete those theory questions.
I would be scoring higher and A1 will be mine!
But after all, end of year report card is the whole of this year's performance.
So I really hope it will push up my overall please.

English Paper 1 : Letter - 23/30
Composition - 19/30

Happy graduation to all seniors today! :D
I remembered it was just not long ago when I had to say goodbye to last year's graduating seniors.
Then this year, it was another farewell to the seniors again.
They were the ones whom I have met ever since I stepped into yuying when I was in secondary one. ):
I really don't want them to leave us but is the way of life, and I do treasure the friendship with them.
All the best for your 'O' levels, I am sure you guys will do us proud(:

EXAM IS OVERRRRRRRRRR! :D

I really need lots of sleep because I had too many sleepless nights.
I want to have many outings with bestfriends.
I want to eat as many junk food as possible.
I want to catch all my favourite drama shows and tv serials.
I want to arrange my study desk because it is still THAT messy.
I want to relax myself, and to wait for the results next friday! :D

Friday, October 03, 2008

I shouldn't be blogging now, since I am on hiatus till 10 October!
And I haven't been studying for the whole day today.
It's been very exhausting, many sleepless nights and more upcoming papers.
Today shall be a day for me to take a rest and to relax myself.
Shall study tomorrow and Sunday. :D
After school today, my eyes were half-closed due the the lack of sleep.
Went home and took an afternoon nap, and it's great to sleep from 2.30pm till 7pm. :D

Maths paper 1 and Social Studies were all right.
I am just afraid that I may write out of point for source-based-questions.
There was definitely a huge difference in my handwritting.
I was like scribling when there is not enough time and so, it ends up that it's very untidy.
When the paper ends, almost everyone in my class was complaning that their hands was painful.
As usual, maths paper suck.
I have been like revising for the past few weeks and I think it doesn't pay off. No, not at all.
Or am I not having the confidence in myself?
Yesterday was such a tiring day for me.
Started studying from 3pm all the way till 12am JUST.FOR.MATHS and also 1 hour to recap all social studies notes.
That is excluding all the hours I have spent for the past two weeks.
It ended up that I only have a barely of 3-4 hours of sleep.
All I have done is not worth it, and seriously very disappointed in myself.
But while, what has done has been done. There's really nothing much I can do about it.
Whatever results which I will be getting for maths, atleast I know that I had tried my very best, I really did. ):
Therefore, I shall focus more on paper 2 that kills and also the rest of the papers.
Remaining papers : POA, English paper 2, Physics, Maths paper 2, MT paper 2, and Chemistry.
